Singapore 2015: Gardens by the Bay & Singapore Flyer

2:07 PM

I went back to Singapore a day after we went home from Hongkong. I was with my dad when we went back to SG. But I had to explore the city alone during the weekdays because my dad had to work and I had to make lakwatsa

The first day we arrived at Singapore was on a Sunday that's why I'm with my dad. Stayed at Fragrance Hotel Rose which was located along Balestier Road and the nearest train station was Novena Station on the N5 line. It wasn't actually near, about 20 minutes walk from the hotel but I love to walk so that wasn't a problem. But you could always take a cab haha :)
We went immediately to Gardens by the bay because we didn't got to enter inside the massive air-conditioned flower and cloud dome because it was closed on our first visit. It was actually pretty impressive and well constructed, I mean It was beautiful alright, the fauna and flora but what really took my breath away was the engineering behind that masterpiece (naks hahaha). We also entered Cloud Forest which is a similar structure but houses a man made waterfall that you can actually go up via elevator and walk down overlooking almost everything from five to seven floors up.
Cloud Forest
How to get there: Take the N5 line going to Marina Bay then transfer to the Circle line. Alight at Bayfront Station.
How much: SGD 28, for both attractions

We spent all afternoon exploring Marina Bay Sands. Went back to the MRT and then headed to our next destination.

Guess who went up 165 meters above sea level? (haha kunware di nalulula) Riding the Singapore Flyer was scary at first but once you reached the top, you would be in awe with a 360 view of Singapore.

How to get there: From Bayfront station alight at the next one (Promenade) then look for the ferris wheel. Trust me, you can't miss it.
How much: SGD 33 per person.

We had dinner at Subway (sandwich) then went back to the hotel.

That is all...for now.
